Default Empire Realism : Unit Preview 1 - Georgia

VonPeretz just joined the ER team. His work will be part of the official ER mod content in future releases. Some content is downloadable already now, see some posts below. If you do so, then make your comments in this thread, VonPeretz is here the support person for the as of yet published content. / DaVinci, 28th September 2009.
Edit: Seems vonPeretz decided to pull the dl-link.

For greater realism should be in the game closest to the historical reality units, particularly among some factions, where the line of units do not typical of the region. In this thread will be posted all the new units, the most reliable.

I am Georgian and just impressed with your work, suggestion u could make a heavy cavalry unit of Tavads or tavadishvilebi(tavads sons) as they were the best cavalry in this period, nice work, I was impressed with your knowledge in Georgian history

Snx.

Naturally Tavads I made in the image of heavy cavalry. But about tavadishvilebi not even know.
I have a request - it was very difficult to find costumes are historical (eg khevsurs, pshavs, tushes - they all had similar weapons/equipment?). So be grateful for any criticism of my skins and materials for recycling.

Georgians in this period used gun named Khirimi, so almost evryone had similar guns, also were used guns like Persians had, equipment was really very similar
about costumes I will see what I can help with but to say the truth I don't like Khevsurs costume they look like KOJ soldier from Broken crescent
u can make Khevsurs look like in Broken crescent mod, as the only new thing was a gun in their costume and armour, I'll upload soon some pics of costumes and weapons too
almost forgot for these times Georgians began to use their owns made guns called simply Georgian gun
