It’s been a good month for those of us who’re interested in the mods dealing with J.R.R. Tolkien’s world of Middle-earth: ‘The Third Age: Total War’ was released, and both ‘The Last Days’ and ‘Middle-earth Role Playing’ gave previews of their work. So did ‘Europa Barbarorum II’, ‘Vacuus Lux Lucis’ and ‘Master Sword: Source’, along with a lot of other mods. ‘Wrath of the Norsemen’ and ‘The Hundred Years War Mod’ are just two of the other modificationss who released playable products.

We’re back – a few days late – with another Mod Realms roundup! This past month we saw the first few ‘Empire: Total War’ mods get released, got some news about possible modding tools for the same game, and information about the upcoming ‘Mount & Blade’ expansion, entitled ‘Warband’ was revealed. Two new mods got their own hosted forums: ‘Iustus Bellum’ for ‘Rome: Total War’ and ‘Nemesis’ for ‘The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion’. A new version of ‘Amazon: Total War’ was released, and ‘The Fourth Age: Total War’ got a new addon allowing you to play as a lost Roman legion in Middle-earth. Read all about that and more below!
