It combines intense action with historical realism and cinematic gameplay. The mod has been in development for over a year now, focusing on research first and foremost. ‘Iron Europe: 1914 – 1916′ is a modification for the not-yet-released ‘Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad’. The September update focuses on a map description of the First Battle of Ypres (Battle of Flanders), plus some renders of unit models for a British Expeditionary Force officer, a German Mg crewman, & a Saxon Musketier (see above) – complete with historical background information. There are also renders of the British Short Magazine Lee-Enfield Mk III rifle (see below) and BEF early war binoculars. You can find the entire progress report here!
