«”I Hate Mountains” is the name of a brand new Left 4 Dead campaign made by three french friends. This campaign is built the Valve way, we are not trying to revolutionize anything, we just want to provide more content to this awesome game.»
Lumberyard Level Interior
The ‘I Hate Mountains’ modification for ‘Left 4 Dead’ have posted an update detailing their progress on several new levels and releasing screenshots and information about the «Lumberyard» level in particular. Lumber your way to their website to read all about it!
«Dead Before Dawn features Crossroads Mall as a replica of the mall in the movie, Dawn of the Dead. Originally created for the HL2 Mod, No More Room in Hell but has since been undergoing major changes to be ported to Valve’s Left 4 Dead.»
A huge update has been released for the ‘Left 4 Dead’ mod ‘Dead Before Dawn’. It includes information about the release date (here’s another zombie mod aiming for October 31st, or Halloween) and a fifth character, CJ, voiced by professional voice actor Jeremiah Costello. There is also an English translation of the article gamestar.de wrote after they got hold of the DBD beta, which features a gameplay video, and masses of masses of – not zombies as you may think – but screenshots! Everything can be found here.
‘Crash Course’, a free DLC (downloadable content) for Valve’s zombie co-op game ‘Left 4 Dead’, has just been released on Steam. It features single player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay, and is set between the No Mercy & Death Toll campaigns of L4D. I think we can infer from the name of the campaign that a certain helicopter ride will have a hard landing…
‘Left 4 Dead’ chronicles the adventures of four survivors (Zoey, Bill, Louis, & Francis) of a global pandemic where much of the human race has been infected with a rabies-like pathogen. Those infected look and behave like zombies, and naturally our heroes have to fight their way through hordes of them.
No doubt one of the scariest videos I’ve seen in a while:
This mod, as is evident by the video, adds the Teletubbies to your ‘Left 4 Dead’ game, complete with dismemberment and sounds. Not for the weak of heart! You can download it here.
