The ‘Imperial Splendour’ team have revealed some of what will make it into the v2.2 release in a new preview. They plan on introducing a new «Hybrid-Technique Start Position», and revamping the German minor states, India, the Middle East, and Great Britain. For a full explanation of all the changes go here.

German States v1.0
‘German States’ is a compilation modification of Pom’s five previous mods for Hannover, Württemberg, Saxony, Westphalia, and Bavaria. There are three versions of GS: one for ‘Empire: Total War’ v1.5, one for ‘DarthMod Empire’, and one for ‘Imperial Splendour’. They can all be found in the mod’s thread.
‘The American Revolution’ adds four new campaigns to ‘Empire: Total War’: Road to Independence Episode 3: 1775 (US only), Road to Independence Episode 4: 1783 (US only), The Revolution Campaign starting in 1775 (nine factions playable), and The Grand Campaign starting in 1783 (all major factions playable). It also includes new units and re-textures for the United States, Great Britain, France, and the Indian factions. Download here!
Wess_Hudson has made a trailer for the recently released Battle of Shiloh map for ‘The Blue and the Gray’, a mod for ‘Empire: Total War’ set during the American Civil War. Download the mod here, and check out the video below:
A new patch for ‘DarthMod Empire Commander Edition’ has seeped through from the dark side of the Force, updating the mod to v3.2 and making it compatible with ‘Empire: Total War’ v1.5. Get your hands on it here!
The Creative Assembly’s creative director Mike Simpson continues to reach out to the community with his second blog post, mostly discussing the campaign AI and that the problems they’ve had with it stems from «an excess of ambition.» Apparently the AI is so huge and complex that it often becomes – or became, as he thinks they’ve mostly sorted it out with the latest patch – stuck in indecision mode. A new version of ‘The Blue and the Gray’ is out which not only makes the mod compatible with the latest ‘Empire: Total War’ patch, but also adds a new map for the Battle of Shiloh. Follow the progress of this American Civil War modification in their development thread, or grab the mod here!
